Get Whale Soon

I made a Get "Whale" Soon card that turned out oh so cute!  I used an applique type for the front focal (the whale) and put a gem in place of the eye (there was nothing there). I put various papers I had in my scrap stash.  The sentiment came from My Pink Stamper's Punnylicious stamp set (I think). Very cute stamps in there.

I did some faux stitching around the edges.  The inside I used some of the same papers. I intended to give this to a friend who was sick but by the time I finished it, she was not sick anymore. LOL  I guess it can wait until another sicky comes around. Here is a video explaining the card a little.  Enjoy!

My Pink Stamper Christmas Card Challenge

My Pink Stamper is having a Christmas card challenge.  Here are my entries.

This card, I used paper twine (not sure the name of it) and simple embellishments.

This one I used pattern paper and blinged it up with stickles.  The mat is a from a glitter stack.

My Pink Stamper Pinkalicious Blog Hop

My Pink Stamper is having a blog hop!  The challenge was to do a project of any kind that shows your style like your favorite color combo, favorite Cricut cartridge or favorite technique, etc.  I don't really have a "style" but my favorite cartridge is...of course, the Create a Critter cartridge.  I think all the little "critters" are so cute.  The frog is my favorite.  I also like circles - not sure why - it's weird.  I like doing stuff with circles.  Here is my entry - the frog one. I have used this one for another recent challenge because I love it so much.  So I am also showing another one from the cartridge.

It's blog hop time at My Pink Stamper.  This month's challenge is to do a project using the color black and a favorite color of your own.  I have a few favorite colors so I did a card with a couple of them.  I am not much for recipes so I will just show the project.  Sorry.
