Jet Max Cube Drawer Squeaky Problem

I shared this on YouTube but thought I would do it here too just in case any of you guys did not catch it there.  I was having an terrible problem with some of my Jet Max Cubes from Michaels making a squeaking sound when I would pull them out and push them in.  Drove me nuts!!!  So I decided to try and fix it.

All I did was cut some acrylic packaging into some strips and glue them down on the side of each drawer opening.  Wow!  It actually worked.  No more squeaking!!  Whoo-hoo!! Here is the video I did to try and explain how I did it.  I hope it works for you too.  Thanks!

Drawer Problem & Solution

I posted a video awhile back about a problem I was having with one of those jet max cubes I got from Michaels.  See video below to see what I am talking about. However, I finally figured out a solution to the problem that I am really happy about.  The solution video is also below.  I hope this helps anyone having the same problem.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Die Storage Solution

I have had the hardest time with how I want to store my thin metal dies.  I have done it several ways, all of which just do not seem to suit me.  So a scrappy friend of mine sent me the Crop in Style sticker binder that I had mentioned in one of my videos.  She was not using it and so she sent it to me to see if it may help me.  Well, so far I think it is a great way to store them.  The only down side I can find so far is that it gets kind of heavy with all the dies and the magnetic sheets that are in there.  But I think it will be fine since there is a handle and also a shoulder strap on it.

Here is a video I did in response to a challenge that Sybil B was having a little while back.  I think it will work....for now anyway.  :-)

New Ink Storage

I recently found a site called Stamp-n-Storage. They have a ton of storage solutions.  I signed up for their newsletter and was automatically entered into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate.  Well guess what? I WON!!!!  I had a hard time deciding which item I wanted because all their products are great.  I finally decided on the distress ink storage unit.  They shipped it out and I received it pretty fast!  Here is the unit with SOME of my inks.  I am in the process of labeling some of the newer ones so they are not in the slots yet.

It looks great right?  They come as unfinished wood. You can paint it, stain it or just leave it as it is.  I think I will leave it natural for now.  I can't wait til I can get more units.  Their stickle storage unit is awesome. They have two different styles you can choose from.  One is stored on top of your desk and the other is inside a drawer. I think I like the one for on top of the desk better.  I like to see all the colors.

Then I think I would like to get the marker storage.  I have just started my Copic collection and I also have other type markers so this unit would be great for those.

If you have storage issues like most of us do, check out Stamp-n-Storage for a wide variety of storage solutions.
