Oh my goodness. It has been awhile since I have posted. I have not been well and even when I actually get a video posted, those sometimes are few and far between. LOL And this is a late post anyway. I made a birthday card for my uncle who is really into Tinkerbell. So weird, but funny. You should see his trailer. Tinkerbell everywhere. Not sure how is girlfriend reacted to that. I guess it doesn't bother her too much...she is still with him. I used images of Tinkerbell that I found on the internet. I did not have time to cut it out on my Cricut. The images I used are really cute. I also used a new Spellbinders die for the frame around her. I really love this die. It's so elegant looking. Here is the video of the card. I had more than enough cards in my stash to share so I decided to send some to different places for donation. There are several organizations all over the country that could benefit from several different types of donations, including greeting cards. Here are some of the cards that I am sending.
These particular cards are going to a pregnancy center in Ohio. Baby cards are just one need, but they also need thank you cards that they send to donors and birthday cards they send to volunteers.
I also have some cards going to a senior center in New York. I love making cards and having some place to actually send my overflow is just a bonus.
I have always wanted to do a card like this but with most projects, it gets put on the back burner. I have several projects I wanted to do first but I figured I would do it because I needed a birthday card for my dad's wife. She likes planting flowers, etc., so it was a perfect card to make. I had a few issues in the process but it I think it turned out okay. I forgot to take pictures of it before I sent it off but below is the video that will show it better. Let me know what you think. My sweetie pie grandson turned 2 on April 23rd. The theme of his party was Gone Fishing. His mama did a great job of getting all the decorations together. Unfortunately the poor little thing could not even attend the party because she was so so sick. She was so upset about it but there was no way she could make it. I tried to calm her to say not to stress; that there will be plenty more birthdays. But I know how she feels if I would have missed any of my kids' birthdays. Well her husband (my son) did an excellent job in taking over the reigns. He had to do most of the prep work and get everything ready. I helped a little but he did most of it. He also had to take care of his son who was for some reason wanting his daddy to hold him most of the time until, of course, his cousin Brewer showed up. They love playing together. Here is a pic of the card I made him.

I did a birthday card for my uncle. He loves, of all things, Tinkerbell. Who knew? Well I did and a bunch of other people know, including his girlfriend. But just by looking at him, you would never know he was into collecting all things Tinkerbell. His trailer has Tinkerbell all over the place. I'd say it was a "shrine"? So funny.
One year he gave me a Tinkerbell birthday card and I was amazed that he even parted with it. But he said he expected it back for his birthday. LOL I was actually going to do that...send it back to him on his birthday. However, I could not find the darn thing. So I just made a new one.
I used the Cricut cartridge Tinkerbell which had a lot of good images of Tinkerbell and her friends. Below is a video showing the card. Let me know what you think. Hugs!
October is mine and my son Daniel's birthdays. We had a little party at our house in which my Dad and his wife came in from out of town to attend. My son wanted my Dad to cook steaks cuz he can cook a mean steak now. And it was sooooo gooooood too! My other son and his girlfriend came in from out of town (college) to attend also. It was good to have everyone together. Here is a video showing the cards. I do so many deer cards for him since he is a hunter that I wanted to do one a little different. He also turkey hunts but would you believe I did not have not a one turkey die. I have a digi but no stamps or dies. Weird for me.
I sent this card to a friend for her birthday. The papers came from another friend (2muchhurt on YT). I love this combination of red, white and black with all the patterns.
I really did not like the way my stamping turned out on the sentiment but I guess you have to practice with them to get it right huh? It's okay though. The inside of the card I just put some scraps on. Here is the video so you can see it better. Thanks guys!
Boy they grow up so fast don't they?! He was just born the other day, and then a few days ago he graduated high school. He got married yesterday and has a baby today. Where did the time go??????? Well I guess it just seems that fast but it is really heart-wrenching when they leave the nest. BUT the good part of it all is I got a grand baby out of the deal. Whoo hoo!!! He is 6 months old now...oh no! He's doing the same thing...growing too fast! Yikes! Ok Karen Sue pull it together... Well as far as my oldest, his birthday is just two days after mine so we usually celebrate together. Here are some cards I did for him. One I did for my Dad to give him and the other for me and hubby to give him. I think they turned out cute. Here is the one me and hubby gave him. This is a Cheery Lynn die. My son loves to hunt deer and ducks so both of these cards were oh so appropriate!
And this is the one I made for my Dad and his wife to give him. The deer are Memory Box I believe. Not sure about the grass though. Sorry.

I got on a card making kick I guess but I had fun doing it. I am trying to use things in my craft room that I have had for awhile and have never used. I am sure you guys have stuff like that right? From paper to embellishments to stamps - I have got to use what I have. I am trying to make myself do this instead of buying a whole bunch of stuff I won't be using until another year. Then I will have to do this process all over again right? LOL Below are some pics and a video. Thanks tons!
Oh my goodness! I feel like an awful scrappy friend. I forgot a scrappy friend's birthday so I made her this card to mail to her. I have been wanting to use these sunflower rub-ons for a long time but never had the opportunity to do so. I did some inking with three colors of distress inks to go with the color of the flower. I also have been wanting to use these bling "flourishes" which I have a ton of so I decided to use them as butterfly trails. Cute! However, those things are a pain to get on there right because they stick to your fingers and then the glue gets stretched so it does not lay exactly the same as it was on the sheet it came on. But I managed to get it on there after what seemed like forever.
I inked the inside also and put another flower in the corner. And the card opens like you see it here. I put the sentiment sideways because of the way the elements sat. Here are some pictures and a video on the card. Hope you like it.
WOW! 70 years old...I have been so blessed to have had my Dad for this long and I pray God lets him stick around much longer, especially since he will be a great-grandfather in a few weeks. Yep! I will be a grandma for the first time too. We are all excited to pieces. My oldest son is having a boy...boy-oh-boy! A precious child from God that will lighten him and his wife's lives as he and his brother did mine and my husband's so many years ago. (blubber..blubber..blubber)
Well anyway I wanted to do something special for my Dad so I had a giveaway challenge for my YouTube friends to do a birthday card for him. They sent them to me and I gave them to him at his birthday party. He loved them. He was happy to get birthday cards from a bunch of women. Haha! Everyone did such a wonderful job on them. I have a few videos showing the party and him opening them (which unfortunately got cut off at the end cuz of my battery - so sorry). And I also have a video showing all the cards that were sent to him. I also made a card and have a video on that also. They are all below.

Wanted to try something different for me so I made a card that is very dimensional. I really think it turned out very cute. It took me forever to work on it because I am not used to making these types of cards but I always wanted to try it.

Happy LATE birthday to my scrappy friend Stacy (FroggieGreenStamper on YouTube). I wanted to send her some goodies but I kept forgetting to get it together to mail out. I finally did.....uh....3 months later. Geez! I guess better late than never huh?
Celebrated my Dad's 68th birthday this past weekend. You would never know he was that old because he is young at heart. Here is the card I made for him. He is a gambler (mostly poker) so I thought this fit him to a T.
My son's girlfriend had a birthday and he asked if I would do a card for her. Of course, I said yes. She loves owls and so here is what I made for her. She loved it! Happy Birthday MacKenzie!
Inking It Up Crazy is having a Birthday Card Challenge. Below is my entry. I used a digi for the focal surrounded by a Nesti and an embossed background (Cuttlebug Daisy folder).
I love circles! Yeah weird, I know. So when I saw Dawn at DawnsStampingThoughts do one, I had to do it too. Very simple card and simple design but fun to make. The inside was just as fun as the outside. I just punched out 3 sizes of circles and glued them to cardstock, embossed the cardstock and so on.... Thanks Dawn for the idea. I love it!
My Pink Stamper is having a blog hop! The challenge was to do a project of any kind that shows your style like your favorite color combo, favorite Cricut cartridge or favorite technique, etc. I don't really have a "style" but my favorite cartridge is...of course, the Create a Critter cartridge. I think all the little "critters" are so cute. The frog is my favorite. I also like circles - not sure why - it's weird. I like doing stuff with circles. Here is my entry - the frog one. I have used this one for another recent challenge because I love it so much. So I am also showing another one from the cartridge.

But since I started scrapbooking/crafting, that has become my favy thing to do. I love it! It is very relaxing.
