New Ink Storage
I recently found a site called Stamp-n-Storage. They have a ton of storage solutions. I signed up for their newsletter and was automatically entered into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate. Well guess what? I WON!!!! I had a hard time deciding which item I wanted because all their products are great. I finally decided on the distress ink storage unit. They shipped it out and I received it pretty fast! Here is the unit with SOME of my inks. I am in the process of labeling some of the newer ones so they are not in the slots yet.
It looks great right? They come as unfinished wood. You can paint it, stain it or just leave it as it is. I think I will leave it natural for now. I can't wait til I can get more units. Their stickle storage unit is awesome. They have two different styles you can choose from. One is stored on top of your desk and the other is inside a drawer. I think I like the one for on top of the desk better. I like to see all the colors.
Then I think I would like to get the marker storage. I have just started my Copic collection and I also have other type markers so this unit would be great for those.
If you have storage issues like most of us do, check out Stamp-n-Storage for a wide variety of storage solutions.

Goodies From a Sweet Scrappy Friend
I received a wonderful package from Jeni (ScapinJeni) - what a sweetie pie. She sent the most awesome gift. She altered a little jewelry box for me and it is beautiful. I love the paper she used and all the flowers are just gorgeous. She also put a stick pin in there. She also put some goodies inside!!
She did such a wonderful job on it. The little angel on the top looks like (and I believe it is) a Dreamsicle angel. I collected those little darlings years ago but not the little flat angels like she put on the box. It is so cute.
She also made me an altered cork and an altered TP holder. Not sure what you call them when they are altered. It's kinda like a tussie mussie - a TP mussie? LOL
Here is a video showing it a little better. Thank you Jeni for my wonderful gift. Love ya girl!

Goodies from Beth for St. Judes Challenge
If you know Beth at Bethsscrapbookroom, then you know about the challenges she has been having. Everyone suggested a certain thing to do and this month was my suggestion - sending cards to the kids at St. Judes. Because it was my suggestion (and another girl's I think) she sends out goodies to that person as well as to the person who actually wins the challenge drawing. Beth is such a sweet person and is very giving so doing her challenges are so fun specially knowing that they are for good causes. Check her out!

Happy New Year!
I know a little late right? Oh well, better late then never I guess. I hope everyone has an awesome 2014. My 2013 was not too good but I am hoping my 2014 is great! Lots of prayers needed for me and my family.
I am also hoping that I can do a little more crafting this year. I had so many days that I just could not bring myself to do anything because of my medical situation. Although I love to craft and I love getting on the computer and watching crafting videos and looking at crafting blogs, sometimes I just could not even open my computer for days at at time. I have not been able to work much because of the pain and the doctors say that there is really no other pain meds I can be put on since I am already on the best meds for my condition. So basically I have to live with it. The meds help some - believe me, if I was not on these meds, I would go completely crazy and I mean CRAZY! But it is not enough to help me be able to function every day and do what I need to do. And increasing the meds is not an option because if I did that, I would be a zombie 24/7.
So....I am praying that God gives me the strength to live every day. I know a lot of people have it far worse than I do but as far as my own situation, it really sucks! And being in that "empty nest syndrome" stage of my life does not help the situation either. My oldest son just got married last year and my youngest son is in college so it is mostly just me and hubby. And its great but when I am alone at home every day and need help, there is no one there until hubby gets home.
Geez! Blah, blah blah. I am starting to hear the violins! Are you? Ok enough of that already. The up side is that this year hubby and I will become Grandparents for the first time!! Whoo Hoo!!! I am so excited about becoming a Grandma I just can't stand it. I can't wait to be able to hold my grandson (yes it is a boy) and smell his little baby smell and play with him and love on him and give him lots and lots of kisses and smooches. God's greatest gifts....children and now grandchildren! I just can't wait to spoil him!
Ok I guess I will go for now. It is taking me forever to type this and my hands are killing me. Thanks to everyone in the crafting community for your support for the last couple of years. Love ya!
